Harold and 3 of his brothers served during WWII  ... His brother Arthur was KIA on June 24th. near the City of Cherbourg (France). Arthur was a member of the 4th Infantry Division, 12th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Battalion, E-Company. He is Buried on American Military Cemetery in Normandy (France).
 

Herbert Jacobsen, he served with the Army Engineers  ... exact unit unknown.

Rolf Jacobsen serving in 1944 in a Military Police Unit. On dec 7th 1945 shipped out on the Santa Cruz for sea duty. Honorable Discharge on March 25th 1946.
